NIKITA is a classic example of a performing artist, dance teacher, choreographer and a successful business woman. Having mesmerised audiences throughout, she presents a challenge to today’s traditional or contemporary spectator. Her life so far and rapid career progression have also made her a role model for the younger generation. An attractive image, a powerful stage presence and a warm nature, Nikita possesses an all rounded personality, and is appreciated as a performer, dance teacher, choreographer and dance director. Nikita is a passionate dance student, having undertaken disciplined training under senior dance teachers, masters and Gurus. She is grateful to; Surdashan Dheer (UK), Indu Moudgil (UK), Shila Mehta (India), Shri Pratap Pawar (UK), Saroj Khan (India) and the legendary Kathak maestro Pandit Birju Maharaj for their priceless contribution to her dance training and appreciation of the arts.
In 2005, Nikita registered The ‘Dancing Nikita Company,’ which now trains more then 200 students across West London, and produces high standard annual productions for their students and professional dancers. The company is continuing to become established as a cultural institute for supporting Indian dance and art in the UK.
